Video production

I have lots of experience creating and producing engaging audiovisual content from top to tail. I have experience working with a wide range of budgets and to varying degrees of independence and collaboration. I have worked in multiple languages, on sensitive topics, and in fragile and conflict affected settings. I have created and championed ethical imagery guidelines and worked with content creators in Yemen, Somalia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Sudan, South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, and Nigeria.

All of the video content below has been produced by me, with varying levels of input ranging from top-level executive production with external consultants in conflict-affected contexts, getting into the weeds and editing, animating explainers frame-by-frame, interviewing partners and colleagues, setting up the lights, handling the cameras, clipping on the lav mics and creating the storyboards.
